About Dr Natasha Mohd Hashim

Biographical Sketch:

Dr Natasha Mohd Hashim received her undergraduate training from International Islamic University Malaysia and her postgraduate qualifications from the University of Malaya. She has worked at the Oncology and Radiotherapy Institute in Hospital Kuala Lumpur since 2002 and attained her postgraduate qualification from the University of Malaya in 2012. In 2008 she joined University Technology MARA and became the head of department. She was active in the training of clinical oncology for doctors and radiographers in Malaysia and collaborated with University Malaya and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She was the invited lecturer for Masters of Clinical Oncology Programme in University of Malaya and was involved in developing the national curriculum for clinical oncology training. She was the visiting consultant in Hospital Selayang and Sungai Buloh for the care of cancer patients. She was also the head of many Multidisciplinary Cancer Care meetings for breast cancer, upper gastrointestinal cancer, head and neck cancer, gynecological cancer, urinary tract cancer and lung cancer; held mostly in Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Selayang. She was also the panel for lower gastrointestinal cancer for the National Chemotherapy Protocol Revision.
