Education and Fellowship:

i) Undergraduate - MD ( U.K.M.) National University of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Year – graduated in1985

ii) Postgraduate - FRACS (Australia) Pt 1 ( 1992), FRCS ( Ireland) ( 1994)

- July 1995 to May 1996 at Sultanah Aminah Hospital, JB
- June 1996 to October 1997 at Institute of Urology, Hospital KL

– November 1997 – October 1998 at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, UK ( Stones, General Urology, Female Urology, Uro-oncology )

Specialty Interests:

Special interests in Urinary stones, Prostate Disease, Urinary Cancers (including Kidney, bladder and prostate cancer) and Urinary Incontinence.
Registered with National Specialist Register as a Consultant Urologist from 2006.

1. Co-author of the a paper entitled “ Experience with Renal Cell Carcinoma at the Institute of Urology, Kuala Lumpur Hospital which was presented at the 9th Malaysian Urological Conference in Penang in December 1999.

2. Poster presentation entitled “ A Nationwide Study of the use of assessment tools for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia amongst the Urologists in Malaysia “ at the 9th Malaysian Urological Conference in Penang in December 1999.

3. Co-author of the a paper entitled “ The Selayang Hospital initial Experience on ESWL with the Storz Modulith SLX Lithotriptor” which was presented at the 10th Malaysia Urological Conference in Kuala Lumpur in November 2000.

4. Presented a paper entitled: Urinary Stress Incontinence: Data review of participants attending an awareness campaign at Selayang Hospital “ at the Asian Urology Congress 2002 in Kuala Lumpur.

5. Present an Audit paper entitled: “An Audit of the performance of the urinary tumour marker NMP22 at Johor Speicalist Hospital form January to June 2003”, at the 11th Malaysian Urology Congress in December 2003 in Langkawi.
